“Sacrificial Love” by Sorcha Rowan —BOOK REVIEW

About “Sacrificial Love” by Sorcha Rowan::

Genre: Paranormal, Erotica, Romance

“Doctor Celeste Thibodeaux has investigated paranormal phenomenon for most of her life. When she was hired to look into strange occurrences at the Pyramid of the Magician on the Yucatan peninsula, she anticipated it would be like many other such trips. What she didn’t expect was to find herself at the heart of a mystery involving past lives and a centuries old love. She was faced with the choice of rekindling that love or face the wrath of the ancient magician who built the pyramid in a single night.”

“Sacrificial Love” follows Dr. Celeste Thibodeaux’s venture at a Mayan pyramid archaeological site. After many ‘disturbances,’ she is called there to use her paranormal ability of sensing and communicating with ‘spiritual’ beings to get everything back in order.

Of course the local man assigned to show her around is skeptical of things such as ghosts and psychics, but the two maintain a professional relationship…that is until a vivid dream and an ancient god changes everything for them. The story is well-written, well-rounded, and quite sexy.

I absolutely adore the premise and plot. It’s very creative and I would much like to read more stories about Celeste. Her character was greatly developed in this short alone. I think delving more into her other adventures and even her past would make for amazing entertainment.
